Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan today said that becoming a mother has been a blessing for her

"Change is constant in life. Every experience contributes to change and growth, making you hopefully a better human being. Becoming a mother has been a blessing and I cherish this gift from god," Aishwarya said.



"Aaradhya (her daughter) is a wonderful blessing in our lives and she is very special and it is a loving fulfilment. I am grateful for this experience," she said. The actress was speaking at the unveiling of stem cell banking by LifeCell here.

Aishwarya said she had opted for banking her daughter's stem cells. "I was aware about stem cell banking as a development probably out of my interest in the medical field as most of my friends are doctors. I have been aware of this way before I got married. I was always fascinated by it. Any research and development in general let alone in science and healthcare has always been of interest to me," she said.

"The beauty of this association fulfils the wish of social encouragement. It is addressing a mindset that is fairly new to our country at large. I am happy to contribute, educate and make people aware about this scientific development," she added.

For Aishwarya it has been busy time professionally as she has lots of advertising and promotional work. Aishwarya refused to divulge anything, when she was asked about the plans to celebrate her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan's birthday on October 11.

"You will know the plans. For us festivities begin from October to November, besides festivals like Navratri and Dusshera there are lot many birthdays in our family that come in this period. It is a busy and special time for us," she said. "With respect and love we wish paa and other family members a happy birthday. Also, we wish everybody happy festival period," she added. 

Aishwarya’s stunning photo-shoot

Since the birth of her daughter Aradhya, there were a number of rumors regarding the projected return of Aishwariya to the silver screen. Today, the actress is at last gearing up for her return. The first venture in this direction is the latest photo shoot for the Noblesse magazine. Celebrity stylist Daniel Bauer has created a stunning look for the former Miss World. Her dramatic makeup and tousled hair with her long eyelashes actually give a marked resemblance to the Hollywood celebrity Brigitte Bardot. In his micro blogging site, an excited Bauer wrote, “My launch edition of Nobelesse India with a very different looking Aishwariya on the cover is out – a truly stunning and iconic Lady.” 

The picture of the Bollywood beauty in a monochrome gown does take your breath away. In another beachside picture, the beauty truly looks stunning in a flawless Christian Dior gown which shows off her curves to perfection. In another photo, the windswept hair, the mesmerizing eyes are set off perfectly as she stands in the beach in a fuchsia pink gown. Her eyes have been emphasized with dramatic kohl while subtle jewelry and accessories have set off a marvelous look.

Motherhood has not hurt Aishwariya’s glamor quotient any. The actress was returning from Ludhiana where she inaugurated a new showroom of the Kalyan jewelers. Her fans almost mobbed the actress and her little daughter at the Chandigarh airport though she covered up Aradhya in a striped cloth.

Superna Motwane, who is the editor in chief of the magazine said, “It’s Ash’s first cover after delivering the baby. She was happy with the concept of the shoot and the fact that Noblesse stands for luxury, perfectly suits her she exudes uber-luxury and exclusivity, which the magazine represents.

We used both high-fashion international as well as Indian labels for the shoot. Our creative team and Ash were on the same page and literally shot seamlessly. We shot at the Leela Hotel in Goa, and the beach shots are definitely some of my favourite!”

“I have to give her a lot of credit. It was the perfect collaboration between Ash and the creative team comprising the photographer, stylist, make-up and hair artists that made it such a success. She is very fashionable and stylish. She is a dream to work with and thoroughly professional,” she added.

Ash working hard for her comeback in 'Happy Anniversary'

Actress Aishwarya Rai is returning to the arclights with Abhishek Bachchan in "Happy Anniversary" and the film's producer says she will be back on the big screen in the same avatar as seen in "Dhoom 2".

Aishwarya's grunge look and size zero in that hit action-thriller became a rage at that time.

"Aishwarya is working hard for the film. She is working hard to lose weight. I can say she will be seen as 'Dhoom Girl' in the film," the film's producer Doshi told.

Doshi, who has produced films like "Bawandar" and "Aankhen", said it was the script that convinced the actress who had taken a sabbatical after becoming a mother.

Set to go on the floors early next year, "Happy Anniversary" will be directed by Prahlad Kakkar and will hit the screens next year itself. 

"I share a good relationship with Mr. Bachchan but it was the script that convinced Aishwarya and Abhishek. I think Abhi and Ash are the ideal couple and they both look good together. The film will be widely shot in South Africa," said Doshi.
