Hrithik was worshipped by girls in my school: Kangana Ranaut.

Actress Kangana Ranaut went down the memory lane recalling her school days when Hrithik struck all her classmates with his first movie. `I was in class 9 when his first movie released. I still remember how crazy all the girls in my school went. He was worshipped,` recollects Kangana.

Kangana will be seen with Hrithik Roshan in Krrish-3 as a super villain. She is mighty thrilled about her role. She feels that her role is iconic and a new beginning for Bollywood as such characters are usually seen in Hollywood movies. She is not leaving any stone unturned to givef her best to the movie. `My main challenge was to different, I did not want my character to look like that of any one else,` says the actress.



She adds that Hrithik manages to strike a chord with the audience. It is he who is the reason for everyone to see Krrish-3.

Working with Rakesh Roshan has been a very good experience for Kangana. `He knows what he wants from his actors. He would even enact scenes for me to make understand what exactly he wanted out of me,` maintains Kangana.

Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan starrer is apparently pegged at a whopping Rs 150 crore

While Bollywood remains to have a good mix of big-moolah films and those made on a shoestring budget, Kareena Kapoor's next film with Hrithik Roshan could break the record. Insiders say Karan Malhotra's film will have a whopping budget of Rs 150 crore and the director has chosen Bhopal as one of the settings for the film.

Till date, Blue, the underwater thriller director by Anthony D'Souza and Shah Rukh Khan's RA.One were the costliest Bollywood films ever at R100 crore each. After two of his previous visits to Bhopal didn't work out, Malhotra finally managed to make a trip to the City of Lakes.

Sources say the director did a recce of Old Bhopal and some other crowded places in the newer parts of the city, including Sadar Manzil and New Market. Currently, Malhotra is in Hyderabad to explore possibilities of shooting there.


Says a source, `Karan has finalised some locations in Bhopal. The buzz is that they will start shooting in Bhopal in December as they will not get the required permissions to shoot before the elections. The schedule will last for 20 to 25 days.` Says the director, `We are trying to make a nice dramatic film but yes for sure it will be big. The costs and budgets depends upon the production house. We will try to make the movie with the best possible resources available.

Kareena Kapoor to flaunt six-pack abs in ‘Shuddhi’

From size zero to six packs abs, woh! What a revolution. Yes, you heard it right, Kareena Kapoor Khan will build up six packs abs for Karan Malhotra’s ‘Shuddhi’ starring Hrithik Roshan as male lead.

In ‘Tashan’ audience got to see a totally new avatar of Kareena who shed out ample flab to get into size zero. Her effort in ‘Tashan’ was appreciated and now the Begum will go extreme point to develop six packs abs.

Usually, six packs abs is a term associated with boys but Kareena will show her talent to beat the boys behind by developing six packs abs which is one of its kind in the history of Indian cinema. Kareena Kapoor will go to the extreme end to get a masculine look for ‘Shuddhi’.

It is highly expected that ‘Shuddhi’ will twist Kareena’s career and place her in a separate zone. Kareena’s next release is ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ with Imran Khan which is slated for November release and soon after the promotion, she will get into martial arts training in December.

'Shuddhi' will bring Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor together after 10 long years. The film will also see some intimate moments between the two. Karan Johar will produce the film and the film is slated for 2014 Diwali release.

Hope, Kareena's body makeover will take the silver screen with storm.

Wow! 'Krrish 3' to sizzle before Diwali

Hrithik Roshan's upcoming superhero film picks release date ahead of the festivities on November 1 instead of November 4

Going against his initial plan of action, Rakesh Roshan has decided to release his upcoming superhero film two days before Diwali this year. Buzz was that the filmmaker was earlier planning to have Krrish 3 hit the marquee post Diwali, given that the festive days lead to a lean period at ticket counters.

So instead of November 4, Hrithik's film will release on November 1, a Friday. Says a source, `All the distributors who had acquired the film two years back requested Rakeshji to bring the film out on a Friday. The fate of the film could be affected by the mahurat of the Lakshmi puja.

By releasing it on Friday, the film can enjoy two entire weeks at the box office, given that Ram Leela and Rajjo are releasing on November 15.` A trade expert says, `At multiplexes, the film will get two and a half per cent bonus for a seven-day period instead of just four days, had it released on Monday.

Those close to Hrithik say despite his tough exteriors, Hrithik is quite a softie within. A few days ago when he was in Singapore, the star went shopping for his grandfather, J Om Prakash. Apparently, he purchased a teddy bear for his granddad. 

Says a source, `Hrithik is very close to his grandfather and he is very fond of soft toys. While shopping for his son Hrehaan, he couldn't stop himself from buying a soft toy for his grandfather too. He almost missed his aircraft back home.

Krrish 3' emoticons launched on Facebook

Bollywood has been harnessing the power of social networking platforms. Now special emoticons inspired by Hrithik Roshan-starrer sci-fi movie "Krrish 3" have been launched on Facebook.

"'Krrish 3', first Indian movie to launch Facebook emoticons/stickers," read a post on Hrithik's page on the popular social networking site. 

Fans can download the "Krrish 3" emoticons in their chat window for free through the following steps:

Directed by Rakesh Roshan, "Krrish 3" is the third film in the franchise that began with "Koi Mil Gaya" in 2003.

Sushant Singh Rajput replaces Hrithik Roshan

Sushant Singh Rajput replaced Hrithik Roshan not only in Ashutosh Gowariker’s next project but  also in Shekhar Kapur’s ‘Paani’. After waiting for a year long, Hrithik failed to give him date. Ashutosh could not wait more and he has signed new boy Sushant Singh Rajput. It is a historic movie based on Mohenjodaro. Hrithik Roshan starred in Ashutosh Gowariker’s hit movie, ‘Jodha Akbar’ but he failed to allot date to the director.

Sushant Singh Rajput has not only replaced Hrithik in Gowariker’s movie but he was also signed by Shekhar Kapur for ‘Paani’. Hrithik was the first choice for the film but unable to accommodate date, he was replaced again.  

Shekhar Kapur said that this love story will change minds. “I hope this film melts hearts, as this story is about love caught in a cities’ war,” he added.

He clarified about Hrithik on his blog. He wrote,” Which Director in his right mind would ever give up a chance to work with Hrithik Roshan? He has been one of the most exciting actors in Hindi Cinema for a long time and a huge star to boot. Some years ago I predicted he would be the first Indian actor to hit Hollywood big time. Like I mean, really, in the A list.”

He also wrote,” ….to what Hrithik is today. The Super Hero. the man who is the protector, the man who can take on the world single-handedly. The man who knows he can take on the world singlehandedly. Hrithik evolved into Krish. And I realized I had left it too late…..So while I lost the chance to cast Hrithik in Paani, I hope that he would still agree to be in one of my next films. In Hollywood, probably.”

Talking about Sushant Singh Rajput, Shekhar said that he is an emerging actor in India. “It will be interesting and exciting to have him in Paani. The actor-director combination will be interesting,” he stated.

‘Paani’ is based on a book written by Maude Barlow and David Farr. It is about water crisis. The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films and will hit the floors by mid-2014. A.R Rahman will compose the music of the film.

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has rubbished rumours that he and his wife Sussanne, an interior designer, are headed for the splitsville

The 39-year-old, currently busy with the release of his next superhero movie 'Krrish 3', trashed the news about their divorce via micro-blogging website Twitter. 'Just a thought - your life is less about you and more about the people around you who love you!' he tweeted.

Sussanne's sister, jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali, too blasted the gossipmongers for spreading the bogus news on the micro-blogging site. She wrote: 'Celebrities will always be food for gossip. Don't believe everything you read. It's a pity the media lives off personal lives. Get a life!'

Sussanne and Hrithik dated for a long time before tying the knot in December 2000. This was the same year when Hrithik made his debut in the Hindi film blockbuster 'Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai'. They have two sons - Hrehaan and Hridhaan.

Is Hrithik, Sussanne couple heading for divorce?

If the Bollywood buzz is to be believed Hrithik Roshan and wife Sussanne may sooner than later part ways. There are rumors that the two are getting divorced.

Sussanne is reported to be fed up of the rumors of Hrithik's affairs with his heroines. Hrithik has been romantically linked with Kareena Kapoor and Barabara Mori, among others, in the past.

While there's been some on-and-off divorce and separation reports doing the rounds for quite some time now, Hrithik and Sussanne never came out in open about the status of their marriage. But the recent developments give strong intuitions that the two may be calling it quits.

Sussanne made a very brief visit to father-in-law Rakesh Roshan's birthday bash held recently. Also, she was nowhere to be seen at this year's Ganesh Visarjan ceremony, whereas she has always been an active part of the procession every year.

It was also heard in the past that Suzzane had shifted base to her parents' home. 

Hrithik and Sussanne have been married for 13 years now, and have two sons - Hrehaan and Hridaan.

What are you saying Hrithik: 'Krrish 3' was almost shelved!!!

Shooting for "Krrish 3" was not a smooth ride for Hrithik Roshan, who had to battle with a double slipped disc and the doctors advised him not to do the movie.

Seeing Hrithik's condition, his father and director Rakesh Roshan planned to shelve it.

"The hard work for 'Krrish' actually went into resurrecting my back because when 'Krrish' was about to start, I had a double slip disc. So it was all about recovering from that to be able to do the film," the 39-year-old said here Tuesday at the announcement of "Kid Krrish", an animation series inspired by "Krrish" franchise.

"Doctors had advised me against doing the film and my papa was also told that this would be very dangerous for him to do. Papa wanted to shelve the film," he added. 

Releasing Nov 4, "Krrish 3" is a superhero flick and it is third in the franchise. It also stars Priyanka Chopra in the female lead. 

But the 39-year-old's determination made `Krrish 3` happens.

"But I was determined and I asked for three months. I was sure I would get strong again and I would be able to do the film. So physical training for the film was about recuperating from my bad back," Hrithik said.


If that was not enough, he recently had a brain injury on the sets of "Bang Bang" and had to undergo a minor surgery, which led to a delay in the shoot of "Bang Bang."
