Though Kangna Ranaut has not showcased her dancing skills in many of her earlier films, Vishwas Patil's Rajjo put to test the actress' dancing chops

And if sources are to be believed, Kangs, who plays a nautch girl, has passed with flying colours.

Titled Julmi, the music track from the film has already secured its place on the music charts. The song, which was unveiled a few days ago, has already got over a lakh hits on YouTube (135,422 views).

For the song, music director Uttam Singh has collaborated with sound engineers from the famous Abbey Road Studios from London, which is notable as being the venue in the 1960s for innovative recording techniques adopted by the Beatles, Pink Floyd, the Hollies, Badfinger and others.

Rajjo is set against the backdrop of the mujra houses of Mumbai and the film also stars Paras Arora, Prakash Raj, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jaya Prada and Upendra Limaye among others.

Actress Kangana Ranaut went down the memory lane recalling her school days when Hrithik struck all her classmates with his first movie. `I was in class 9 when his first movie released. I still remember how crazy all the girls in my school went. He was worshipped,` recollects Kangana.

Kangana will be seen with Hrithik Roshan in Krrish-3 as a super villain. She is mighty thrilled about her role. She feels that her role is iconic and a new beginning for Bollywood as such characters are usually seen in Hollywood movies. She is not leaving any stone unturned to givef her best to the movie. `My main challenge was to different, I did not want my character to look like that of any one else,` says the actress.

She adds that Hrithik manages to strike a chord with the audience. It is he who is the reason for everyone to see Krrish-3.

Working with Rakesh Roshan has been a very good experience for Kangana. `He knows what he wants from his actors. He would even enact scenes for me to make understand what exactly he wanted out of me,` maintains Kangana.

Happy to experiment with different roles - from a supergirl to a prostitute to a gangster -in her forthcoming films, Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut Monday waxed eloquent about her role in "Krrish 3" where she plays "the country's only superwoman".

The curly haired beauty has a stellar line up of films like "Ungli", "Queen", "Rajjo" and "Revolver Rani". In "Queen" she plays a very sensitive and vulnerable woman whereas in "Revolver Rani" she will be seen as a dacoit-cum-gangster.

In Vishwas Patil's "Rajjo", the actress is set to wow audiences with her portrayal of a nautch girl.

"Each one (film) is so special that I can't single out a special film. But I think 'Krrish 3' is very special. I am probably the only superwoman in our country and that stays very special," she said during the opening of the Adrija Jewellery showroom here.

"I have a variety of roles that I have been doing. 'Queen' is being appreciated a lot and 'Rajjo' as well. I have a variety of releases and I am looking forward to how people receive them," she said.

"Krrish 3" is slated for release Nov 4. Hrithik Roshan plays a superhero in this third edition of the franchise which began with "Koi Mil Gaya" in 2003 followed by "Krrish" in 2006.

The film also stars Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi.

Having proved her mettle in a comic role in the 2011 romantic-comedy "Tanu Weds Manu", actress Kangana Ranaut Monday said that she hopes her forthcoming film "Rajjo", in which she plays a nautch (dance) girl, turns out to be a game changer

The actress broke free of her troubled girl image that she had in films like "Gangster", "Woh Lamhe" and "Fashion", through her impressive comic timing in director Anand L. Rai's "Tanu Weds Manu", which also gave her a chance to dance.

She fervently wishes "Rajjo" to be another turning point in her career.

"I always wanted to dance. After 'Fashion', people did not give me comedy roles and 'Tanu Weds Manu' was a game changer for me...and now 'Rajjo' has given me another chance to dance and I hope it too becomes a game changer," she said during the opening of Adrija Jewellery showroom here.

Busy promoting her next release, "Krrish 3", the actress said researching for her role as a nautch girl was a revelation. She was shocked to find that most of the women in the flesh business "really love doing what they do".

"Most don't even mind being in flesh business. They really love doing what they do....it's not that they want to escape or have a different life.. it was a shocking thing for me.

"The ones who are really popular mujra girls ..it's unlike how they are portrayed in Hindi films...they are trained and they are groomed in the art and craft of wooing men ...so well spoken and well mannered and these are the few things that I realised while doing the research.

In no rush to get hitched any time soon, actress Kangana Ranaut Monday said she would prefer the virtue of honesty in her potential partner.

The 26-year-old, who is single at the moment, does not, however, believe in a "list of qualities" to look out for in her man.

"I don't look for a list of qualities in a man, but I would prefer someone who is honest and open-minded," she said during the opening of the Adrija Jewellery showroom opening here.

Quizzed on her status, she replied: "Yes, I am single and no, I am not getting married anytime soon."

Kangana is busy promoting her forthcoming film -- the Hrithik Roshan-starrer "Krrish 3" -- and is looking forward to an impressive line up of films like "Ungli", "Queen", "Rajjo" and "Revolver Rani".

She made her debut in 2006 with "Gangster - A Love Story" and won the National Award for best supporting actress for her performance as a troubled model in the 2008 release "Fashion".

From the pre-production of "Rajjo" to its post-production, actress Kangana Ranaut is said to have been taking a keen interest in all aspects of her forthcoming movie. This is so because the movie-making process fascinates her.

"For me, there's nothing like perfection. Being an artist, the technical side of movie-making does fascinate me tremendously," Kangana said in a statement.

"However, my involvement is restricted to witnessing the developments on the set. The process of making movies is like a sort of meditation for me and I totally love it," Kangana said in a statement.

"Rajjo", a women-centric drama, is a love story set against the backdrop of a Mumbai brothel. It's the story of a nautch girl Rajjo (Kangana), whose upbringing has moulded her into a person unlike a courtesan.

If sources are to be believed, Kangana, who looks fit and bold in the film's poster, is getting involved in each and every department of the film. She had even recently revealed that she has plans to direct a foreign film, which will cater to the international as well as Indian audiences.

The actress had earlier directed a short film, written in collaboration with an Australian writer, which was shot in the US.

"Rajjo", directed by Vishwas Patil, will hit theatres Nov 15 along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Ramleela".

The release of actress Kangana Ranaut's next film "Rajjo" is clashing with "Ram Leela", but she says there is no competition with it.

"There is no competition with 'Ram Leela'. 'Rajjo' is not competing with 'Ram Leela'. Honestly I don't think our film is competing with any other film. It was the producer's call to release the film on Nov 15 and never in my lifetime have I interfered in these things.

"We will stand by our product and there is enough space and opportunity for all the films," Kangana told reporters at the unveiling of the latest cover of film magazine 'Cine Blitz'.

The actress, who is playing a prostitute in 'Rajjo', says the film deals with different issues.

"I am playing a prostitute in the film... its a very different film, it deals with various issues. I look up to Waheeda Rehman who has done a wonderful job in 'Pyaasa'.
