It seems Katrina Kaif has made peace with Salman Khan and his family after their break up. She joined the Khan family for Ganpati visarjan. She arrived along with her manager, Reshma Shetty. Salman’s another ex girl friend, Sangeeta Bijlani was also seen at the visarjan ceremony. Sangeeta is seen at most of the Salman’s family functions. However, Katrina was never seen at the ‘Khan’ functions after she parted ways with Salman Khan. It is clear that now the family has accepted Katrina forgetting the past. It is also known that Katrina is close to Salman’s sister Arpita. Both are seen hanging out together quite often.
Malaika Arora and Katrina Kaif did not acknowledge each other at the ceremony. Both share cold vibes since long. Even when Salman was dating Katrina, Malaika avoided meeting Katrina.
Sonakshi Sinha, who worked with Salman Khan in Dabangg series also joined family for the festival. During the visarjan ceremony, Sonakshi danced with other guests. She seemed to enjoy herself thoroughly. She was looking beautiful in a white suit.
Every year Salman hosts Ganpati puja at his residence. But since his house is undergoing renovation, he and his family decided to host the puja at Salman’s sister, Alvira’s residence. Her residence is located in suburban Mumbai. A host of celebrities came to seek blessings of lord Ganesh. Puja started on 9th morning and on 10th, visarjan was carried.
Another surprise element at the puja gathering was Riddhima who came with her little daughter. Riddhima is Ranbir’s sister.
Apart from her many other celebrities visited Agnihotri’s bungalow for puja. Alvira is married to actor and director Atul Agnihotri.
A few days before the puja, Arpita tweeted, “It's that time of the year again when Ganpati Bappa is visiting us, looking forward to it. Can't wait !”
Arpita was seen in a red and black dress as she welcomed idol of lord Ganesha. She herself held the idol and helped the idol in. Then she and entire Khan clan joined together for puja. Salman’s father, Salim Khan was present with his wife Helen and ex-wife Salman Khan. Later Arbaaz Khan came with his wife and kid. Sohail Khan arrived at the venue on his bike. Salman Khan also arrived in the morning.
Other than the family members, a number of Bollywood celebrities and TV actors visited Ganesh puja organized by Khan family.
