Newsbreak: Grand Masti's future in lurch, as trouble intensifies


"Goddess of Controversy" doesn't seems to be in mood sparing upcoming cine flick "Grand Masti." Recent developments pertaining to movie says that The Punjab and Haryana High Court has stayed the release of the movie in Punjab due to its gawky dialogues and vulgar content.

Considering the petition of an advocate Dinesh Chadha against the vulgar dialogues of the movie judiciary has stayed the release of the movie which is slated to release this Friday.

In his petition applicant has also sought direction for Central Board of Film Certification to reconsider the certificate of exhibition to the movie. As per petitioner the board has violated the the provisions of Cinematography act 1952 by granting the movie with the certificate which is quite high on gawky front.



The movie starring Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Ritiesh Deshmukh earlier had a tryst with controversy when a private sector bank also appealed against it for maligning it's image.
